APA Sports & ExercisePhysiotherapist
Master of Sports Physiotherapy, La Trobe University
Bachelor Of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), University Of Sydney
Shiblee injured his knee at the age of 15 playing soccer. It was through the process of diagnosis, reconstruction and rehabilitation he realised the true value of physiotherapy, and decided to pursue it as a career.
Shiblee graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007, and started his career at Liverpool Hospital. He soon decided that his passion lay in modern treatment of sports and musculoskeletal injuries to guide people to return to their best. Since then he has worked as a private clinician, caring for people of the community across a large range of abilities and age groups. Outside of this he has always enjoyed being a part of local and more elite sporting teams, including:
Sutherland Hockey Club
Cronulla Sharks Major League Baseball
State League Netball
Football NSW - National Premier League
Camden District Netball Association
Group 6 Rugby League & Sutherland Shire A-Grade Rugby League
His diverse range of roles and experiences makes him the ideal physiotherapist to help you get back to doing what you love, whether it is higher level sport, or a healthy active lifestyle.
His approach to the management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries continues to evolve as he integrates technology, the latest research and creativity into his model of care. He believes physiotherapy should be based on honest and open communication, be successful, and fun!
When Shiblee is not working he enjoys bushwalking with his wife and trying new cuisines and foods - the weirder the better! You may also find him working out in the gym at Engadine Leisure Centre.
